Cardigan Bay Riding Club Show is a local show and we
decided it was an ideal show for Blaenllain Blueberry (Zara) a new5
year old Welsh Part Bred which recently arrived, Zeta along with
Lenny. A lovely setting for a show held on a National Trust
Property. Zeta won her class as best brood mare and Lenny was
second, which we were pleased as this was Zeta's first show for 4 years
and Lenny's first, he was wonderfully behaved and turned a lot of heads
with looks and personality. Zara won her class which was best
partbred, which we were very pleased with. |

Cardigan Show was a typical welsh weather day and
the heavens opened and rained all day. Once again the Bart and
Bugsy behaved well Bugsy had a second and third and Bart had a second
and First and taking the Welsh Part Bred Section Reserve Champion. |

NPS Area 28 Show held at Cothi Bridge Showground. A successful day was
had with both Bart and Bugsy winning the Pony of Show Type and Bart
taking overall Section Champion.

Ceredigion Welsh Pony and Cob Society Show. Bart, Bugsy, Coco,
Blaenllain Doodleberry (Doodle) and Foal all had successful day
with winning all their classes, with Bart taking the Welsh Part Bred
Reserve Champion.

Aberystwyth Show and Blaenllain Doodleba (Bugsy) won
the Yearling Part Bred Arab Class and Blaenllain Doodleba Dark Secret
(Coco)taking third in the same class. Coco wond the Colt / Gelding
yearling class in the Pony Breeding Section. Bugsy and Coco were
placed second and Third in the Yearling Part Bred Class.

The Spring Valley held at the Cothibridge
Showground this year both Bart and Bugsy (Doodleba Supreme) went and
Bart won both Part Bred Mountain & Moorland and the Show Hunter
Pony Breeding Classes and then went on to take both Section
Championships. Bugsy also had a successful second show by Winning
the Show Hunter Pony Breeding Class and taking second in both the
Mountain & Moorland and in the Arab Class.

Bart (Blaenllain Doodleba) went to Cothibridge Show. Bart
had a sucessfull day he won was the Welsh Part Bred Champion
successfully winning the In-hand and Ridden. Bart also won his third
class of the day in the In-hand arab class 4 years and over.
Blaenllain Doodleba Dark Secret was placed second in the Welsh
Partbred and third in the Riding Pony Breeding

Blaenllain Doodleba,
Blaenllain Cardinals Dream and Blaenllain Doodleba Supreme went to the
Carmarthenshire Welsh Pony & Cob Association Show and we came home
with three firsts and Cardinals Dream was the Youngstock Reserve
Champion of the Welsh Part Bred. Blaenllain Doodleba's Dark
Secret won the Riding Pony Breeding, Yearling exceeding 128cm not
exceeding 148cms at Maturity, with Bryneos Tinkerbelle being second,
both these yearlings been being by Blaenllain Doodleba.

On Easter Day in March 2008
Blaenllain Cardinals Dream went ot his first show of 2008 to which he
won his Welsh Part Bred class, any age and was also Welsh Part
Bred
champion. He slso qualified for the International Royal London Show,
The South West Championships Show and the SWPA Wales & the West
Festival.
